Desired interfaces

With 5G networks in the not-too-distant future, the Internet of Things can actually become a reality. For technology designers, this moment (before widespread ubiquitous computing) marks an opportunity to consider expanding considerations of what technology and out interactions with it may be in a highly-connected world.

DIGITS NAIL TECHNOLOGIES were developed using 3 design frameworks that I’ve have developed - humor, play, & femme-forward design. These design frameworks are drawn from my desire to push against traditional tech design paradigms that inherently center on workplace optimization-based (i.e. speed, efficiency, productivity) models. By centering humor, play, and femme-forward design considerations, I’m attempting to design holistically and consider alternative futures with desirable and relevant interfaces.
